Chinese New Year

The beginning of February was all about Chinese New Year. Mom was able to come out for a few days for the celebration and just for a little visit. Yehyeh had some of his friends pick up the most adorable and VERY Chinese, outfits from China for the occassion. The kids wore them and actually really enjoyed wearing them. We got several pictures, all very cute. Here are some of them in the outfits and just enjoying the time with Grandma and other family.

Onwards to 2011!

Here it it, the third month of the year, and I'm putting up the first post of the year!! :) Obviously, lots has gone on. Most of the pictures I have so far are from January, but I'll try to fit it all in one post.

We visited with the Macedo family and their cutie-pie kids.

We took the kids to the aquarium (because we're trying to get the most out of our passes, Elijah loves being there, and it was a beautiful day for it)!

Charlotte ate and drank alot. In new outfits. I especially LOVE the red kilt she got from the Ferries in Scotland (thanks Jen!).

We played in the park with their cousin, Yumi as well. Yes, in January. We didn't get a lot of snow or cold weather this year. :)

And we also just hung around the house a little.



That was it for the month - seems busy looking back!

Christmas Slideshow

As with any major holiday, there are too many good pictures to post so here are some of them in slideshow form. Kids had a blast this winter, with Christmas in Vernon with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Devin, Aunty Caroline, Isaac and Sadie, and a celebration with Aunts, Uncles, Yumi and Yehyeh at home too.
